Why OAK asks for online links to articles and conference papers
OAK explained its checking of electronic addresses for articles and conference papers in attestation files. A link should connect the claimed work to its real issue, rather than merely open an unrelated PDF stored elsewhere.
What a useful link shows
Prefer the publisher’s article page or an issue record showing title, authors, date and pages. A DOI is a stable identifier, but its metadata should still agree with the article. A file without an associated publisher record may not establish where and when it appeared.
Prepare the publication list
Check each work’s exact title, authors, journal or conference, volume, issue, pages, DOI and live address. If the publisher moves its site, retain the new URL and an official archive page if available. Avoid attaching another person’s similarly titled work.
Evidence limits
Online availability assists verification but does not by itself prove OAK-list inclusion, research quality or integrity of a supplied PDF. Those questions require separate evidence.
