IlmiyChek
Check scientific article indexing
An indexed article, a journal included in a source list and a document found by a scholarly search engine are not equivalent. IlmiyChek records precisely what each database returned rather than reducing several kinds of visibility to one claim.
Evidence of indexing
A direct article record with the same DOI or sufficiently precise bibliographic details is the preferred evidence. Journal checks examine the source record, coverage years and relevant collection. A search snippet or bibliography mention is labelled as supplementary discovery.
Scopus and Web of Science
Available official interfaces and data are used. Current journal coverage does not mean that every issue was indexed: year, volume and document type matter. Subscription barriers and temporary source outages are reported rather than hidden.
Indexing versus authenticity
A database record can establish bibliographic presence, but it does not prove that every page of the submitted file matches the published version or that its scientific conclusions are valid. The report keeps those questions apart.
